A diagnostic study will allow Western Australia Sleep to assess your sleep, breathing, oxygen levels (non-invasive) and body movements and identify any disturbances or sleep abnormalities.
In an effort to accurately diagnose and treat your sleep problem, your doctor may send you for a diagnostic sleep study or an overnight polysomnogram.
During an overnight CPAP titration study in your nearest Western Australia Sleep hospital location. You spend the night in the hospital, and staff will fit a comfortable nose/mouth mask. Then while you are asleep, they will determine what settings are required to control any sleep problems. The results are then sent back to your GP.
