Adrian Barnett is an early career respiratory physician at Mater Hospital and associate lecturer at UQ school of medicine. He has multiple interests within the speciality of respiratory including sleep medicine, asthma, and cystic fibrosis. He is an avid investigator with a variety of peer review studies published, including a metanalysis and prospective cohort study.

He is the principal investigator at the Mater Hospital site for the Australian Severe Asthma Registry and recently participated in the TSANZ acute oxygen therapy working group, publishing an updated guideline on Acute Oxygen Therapy in March last year.

He understands the importance of research and enjoys contributing through investigator lead projects while supporting clinical trials that may offer benefits to patients with chronic respiratory disease.
